We have been working hard to create wonderful, delicious dishes for you to take home, whilst keeping the cost as affordable as possible so that you may all be able to enjoy The Cross At Home!
Each week our chefs will create two three course set menus with beautiful, top quality seasonal produce, and each week the price will reflect the menu they have created, so as to make it as affordable as possible for you all.
Unfortunately, we are currently unable to cater to any allergies or dietary requirements, but the menu will be continually changing so don't forget to come back and check each week!
This week from our kitchen to yours:
The Cross sourdough bread & cultured butter. (gluten, milk)
Citrus cured salmon, cucumber, gooseberry herb salad, yoghurt dressing, crispy quinoa. (fish, milk, sulphites)
The Cross beef cheek and pickled walnut pie, beef fat mash, summer vegetables, ale sauce. (celery, gluten, milk, nuts, sulphites)
Banoffee cheesecake, toffee sauce, banana compote, toasted peanuts. (gluten, milk, nuts, sulphites)
This weeks vegetarian offering:
Salad of globe artichokes, green beans, feta cheese, green olives, pine nuts. (milk, sulphites)
Roasted and confit fennel, white beans, spinach, tomato emulsion, pepper leaves.(milk, sulphites)
Add a majestic cheeseboard consisting of four wonderful cheeses (250g of each) hand selected by our chefs, served alongside linseed crackers, seeded crackers and a quince jelly. (milk, gluten, sulphites)
A Camembert-style cheese with a classically creamy and unctuous taste. Flavours are vegetal, truffley and garlicky.
Made with pasteurised cow's milk and animal rennet.
A sweet, soft, delicately ‘goaty’ and grassy, with an ice-cream like texture. The young cheese is rolled in ash, and then matured for a couple of weeks to allow the growth of a natural rind and the development of a more complex flavour.
Made with raw goat’s milk and vegetarian rennet.
Stilton Colston Bassett
Colston Basset Stilton cheese is hand-made by Billy Kevan and his team in Nottinghamshire. It is one of the last remaining hand-ladled Stiltons. Hand-ladling produces an intensely rich and creamy cheese; and the Colston Bassett flavour is deep, lingering and complex.
Made with pasteurised cow’s milk and vegetarian rennet.
The Cornish Gouda is handmade by Giel Spierring on the family farm in Looe Cornwall. The Dutch family moved from the Netherlands in 1998 to start dairy farming, but due to years of poor milk prices the family could no longer afford to continue running the business. When youngest son, Giel, came home from college to a ‘For Sale’ sign on the farm gate in 2012, he decided he would make the business viable by diversifying the farm through the production of Cornish Gouda Cheese. the gouda we select is matured for 12 months this hard cheese has a rich complex flavour to it, with subtle hints of caramel.
Made with raw cow’s milk and animal rennet.
Add a large 750g loaf of The Cross' superb sourdough to take home and enjoy all through the week.
Get a beautiful celebration cake from the wonderful Angelina Adamo at Tutto Apposto to put the finishing touches to a celebration meal, or just to treat yourself!
Torta al Cioccolato - Chocolate fudge sponge, chocolate frosting, brownie pieces, fudge, biscuit bites.
Oro Ferrero Roche Torta - Chocolate sponge, gold chocolate frosting, kinder bueno, ferrero rocher, amaertti biscuits.
Torta al Nonna - Vanilla sponge, strawberry jam, chantilly/buttercream filling.
Torta al Limone - Lemon curd and lemon cheesecake filling.
All available in 4" or 8" sizes.

Delivery to all Kenilworth addresses is £12.
Delivery for all addresses beyond Kenilworth is £20.
For local delivery, please select your preferred delivery day. Whilst we shall try and meet your requirements, please understand that for logistical reasons we may not be able to deliver on your preferred day. You will be emailed with expected delivery day and time window on Thursday.
For national delivery, unfortunately we can only deliver on Friday.
