Liviu Arhire grew up in Constanta, Romania. From the age of 14 years old, he started to work in various bars and from this, he started to hone his cocktail making skills and get a real feel for the hospitality industry.
To further his knowledge, he attended Virgil Madgearu Technological School and it was there that he received a Professional Diploma in Waiting and Customer Service.
He moved to London in 2012 working in bars and restaurants and eventually moving to Leamington Spa where he worked at Restaurant 23. In his spare time, he would read hospitality books to further his knowledge.
After hearing about the potential that The Cross at Kenilworth would have to offer and that it had gained a Michelin star, he decided that there was more opportunity to grow and came to work at The Cross starting as a Bar Manager then recently gaining the position of Restaurant Manager.
Whilst working here, he received qualifications in Wine Spirit and Education Trust Level 1 and 2 broadening his knowledge in wines and spirits.
“Every day is a learning curve and once we realise our potential, we can achieve great things”
