The Cross will be re-opening with a pop-up outdoor dining experience from Wednesday 14th April until Sunday 16th May, with heated tents to allow for almost any kind of weather. The Cross terrace has always been a popular spot for sunny days, and until we can open fully on Monday 17th May, it will provide a warm, relaxing space to meet with those we haven’t seen in a while and enjoy delicious dishes cooked by the talented chefs. For a total of five weeks, the terrace will be home to our al fresco pop-up from 12pm (last reservations taken at 7pm), Wednesday to Sunday.
For the first taste of freedom and the ability to meet loved ones after such a long time, we will be serving a set menu (£50 for two courses, £60 for three courses) and a five-course tasting menu (£80).
Both menus reflect the light and hopeful nature of spring, including seasonal dishes such as “Potato & wild garlic soup, ham hock & parmesan croquettes”, “Gin Cured Sea Trout, cucumber, borage, horseradish, soda bread”, and “Yorkshire rhubarb fool, jelly, compote & sorbet, warm honey and ginger madeleine”.
